The truth of a Doctor's Life

If YOU think that doctors are snobbish people or
wealthy people or just a bunch of 'smart-y'
living their perfect,wonderful life...
well GUESS WHAT?!
YOU are so WRONG!!!...
a Doctor means lifetime of studies,
as technology advances every second,
Doctors got to be updated with it every second too,
as new diseases or vaccine and etc. are discovered,
Doctors got to be the first to get the info,
After completing pre-university courses,
a PRE-MED student got to study five years
to get their degree in the medicine field,
Human Anatomy & Biochemistry
are only 2 of the 10 subjects{if I'm not mistaken}
and there are universities which require medical students to do
post-mortem which is well...go check a dictionary or something...")
after let's say almost 7 years of studying,
in Malaysia it's now compulsory for all medical students
to undergo a 2-years Housemanship
and 3-years serving as Medical Officer in any Government Hospital
and by the way {'they' are trying to reduce 3 years of service to 2 years}
after 10 years of everything then you will become a legal practitioner,
then for those who are going to specialised in a certain field...
it'll take another 3-5 years {maybe}
and the challenging part is during housemanship where
they will be working 7 days a week for 2 years in
6 different departments- 4 months in each departmentduring weekdays,working hour will be around 7a.m.to almost..
I an not sure...but everything should be done when they go back...
for example if they end at about 5p.m.
usually it'll drag for another 1-2 hours..??
then if they go for on-calls means it's almost 36 hours without sleep,
and they still have to go work early the next morning,
while everyone looks forward to weekends...
HO-s {housemen} still got to work half day..if they 'finish' on time ")
and in addition,
after work usually it's back to studying because every single detail,
and piece of information is important when attending to patients
so basically it's sacrificing your social life to serve for mankind,
yes! the salary is well ok..in the sense that you will get
maybe almost 3k plus allowances and other stuff
(during housemanship)
but there will practically be no time to spend it...
this "JOB" is not only a part of a person life,
it's actually his/her entire life as
they are still doctors even without the 'white overcoat'
if there's an emergency they will have to rush
to the hospital even if they are on leave-s
BECAUSE it's all about a person's life
there are no space for mistakes or second chances
so! change your opinion about the
"fake image" of a doctor especially in TV series
It's not that easy as it looks or sound like...
